Information
Our
day will begin by meeting about 7:30 a.m. at the local diner where we will
become better acquainted while I lay out the "plan of attack" for our day
of fishing over breakfast. when we're finished, we'll head for the
lake(s) of my/your choice for that particular day. We may fish one
lake all day, or a combination of them based on the weather conditions.
Around 1:30 p.m., we'll break for a short
lunch and resume fishing 'til the end of the day, which, depending on the
time of the season, could be anywhere from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Should we decide to go out after dark (which can be very productive at
times). We will stop for a relaxing dinner before we go out.
Weather permitting, you'll receive a minimum of 8 hours of fishing per
day.
During the course of the day, I'll be telling
you about the lake(s) we're on, so if you wish to go back to them on your
own, you should be able to fish them constructively. You'll find
out just where the weed beds, rock piles and other pertinent structures
are located along with the areas to use extreme caution in while motoring.
I'll do my best to show you how to hook,
catch and properly land and release muskies by using both the proper methods
and the correct type of tackle and equipment. This can save you both
time and money in the long run. You will also be shown the importance
of boat control for both catching fish and occupant safety.
Along with this, the sighting of an American
Bald Eagle, a family of loons or several deer at the waters edge in the
natural freshness and beauty of Vilas County is always a "PLUS".
