Here is my guide client, Pete Oaks, posing with a forty-four inch fish he caught with me on 05/25/08 at Caesar Creek Lake in Ohio.It had a twenty-four inch girth!! Tom Dietz, Store Manager of the Dayton, OH Gander Mountain store, caught and released this 48" x 22" musky from Clear Fork lake in North Central Ohio on May 19th, 2005. The fish was caught in five feet of water off of a wind swept main lake point on a 6" Reef Hawg jerkbait. This was Tom\'s maiden voyage to this famous Ohio lake. On the first spot, within the first 15 minutes, all I hear is Dan yelling, "Mike, I\'ve got one!!!" I looked back to see a monster shaking her head trying to throw the perch Turmoil, and putting up one hell of a fight. Dan\'s fish measured 47 inches and was supporting a very nice girth. James Cucco caught this 44.5 inch muskie will fishing last Sunday with Crash Mullins in Cave Run Kentucky. I caught the fish on a large sledge jerk bait while fishing a steep sloping bank combined with timber. This was an extremely fat fish. I the big girls are starting to move down south. It looked bad but in reality the whole mess came apart quite easy and she was released to fight again another day.
